January 1: 1998 vs 2018

1998: we were staying at a bed and breakfast in Dallas, TX, ready to go to the Cotton Bowl which was Texas A&M vs. UCLA (UCLA won an exciting game)

In the morning, I jogged 1.5 miles to an old 440 yard cinder running track, ran 3 miles in 20:37 (looked it up), jogged back.

Today:

And the roads are ice covered.

So, I went indoors:

weights: rotator cuff, pull ups (5 sets of 10…rough again), bench press: 10 x 135, 1 x 185 (didn’t feel right), 10 x 170, incline: 10 x 135, military (dumbbell), 7 x 50 dumbbell (lost power, right arm), 2 sets of 10 x 45 dumbbell, 10 x 90 machine, (free weight resistance), rows: 3 sets of 10 with a machine, back, headstand.

Walk: track (too tired to run), 40 laps (5.0793)
13:53, 13:31, 13:21, 12:17, 12:29 (7 and 7/8 laps per mile)

So…I’ve lost something. This year my bowl game is on TV…well, my bowl game was the Bears vs. Browns just over a week ago.
