Not feeling it but…

Workout notes: weights followed by 4 miles in 45:05 “run” on the treadmill. 10 min. at 5.1, 10 at 5.2, then up every .25 miles to get to 3.5, then up every .1 That is what constitutes a “fast finish” for me.

Then some yoga at home.

Weights: rotator cuff, hip hikes, toe raises (yadda yadda), pull ups: 3 sets of 10 (not bad) then bench presses:
10 x 135, 1 x 185 (thought about trying to max, but 185 felt “heavy”), 5 x 185, 8 x 170
incline: 10 x 135
2 sets of 10 pull ups
rows: 3 sets of 10 x 110
military: standing dumbbell: 10 x 50, 10 x 45, 20 x 40

Ok, you can’t tell that I lift by looking at my body, but my hands do have some cool calluses.

Confession: the state of society and politics has me down. The Democrats are in disarray, Trump is a disaster and the Republicans are incompetent.

It appears that one side wants a boutique society where every single personal nuance is accommodated by society and the other denies anything resembling a scientific fact. Yes, I remain a liberal but one who believes that one is not entitled to a captive audience and who believes that each individual has to make some adjustments to get along with society.

I’ll discuss this in more detail in a later post…but we’ve gotten to the point where a woman’s religious retreat was called out as being “discriminatory” by…the “gender fluid” people.
