No double workouts anymore

One thing I’ve noticed: until recently, I could go for a run after a weight workout and do ok. But now, it is torture; a gentle walk is just fine though.

So I walked 2 miles (Bradley/Moss course) after today’s workout and hope to run on the gym treadmills tomorrow.

Weights: rotator cuff, 3 sets of pull ups (10)
bench press: 10 x 135, 1 x 185, 1 x 200 (easy), 1 x 205 (legal, solid), 5 x 185
incline press: 10 x 145
military press: 2 sets of 10 x 50 dumbbell standing, 20 x 50 seated, supported
rows: 3 sets of 10 x 50 each arm
pull ups: 2 sets of 10 (to finish 5)

This was the most I’ve bench pressed since June, 2013. Ok, at this bodyweight, as a young man, I could have done this weight 10 times, but that was in the early 1980’s.

After the weight workout I attempted to run on the was going ok, but really wasn’t pleasant. So I walked outside instead.
