Who am I kidding…

Well, I did get some work done and will get more done. I am not working this election (as I have the others) though Barbara is working as an election judge.

Many are predicting a Clinton victory (here, here and here ). The uptick in Hispanic voting is great news for Clinton.

But the reality is that the state of the race really hasn’t changed that much.

So the question that I now turn to is this: just who supported Trump anyway? No, despite the memes you see, Trump supporters are, on the whole, a bit more affluent than average, and do NOT live in places unusually hit by the global economy or that much affected by immigration.

But here is what I am genuinely puzzled by:

Trump angered a lot of women.
Trump insulted Mexican immigrants, Muslims and other minorities.
Trump is not religious.
And Trump was not good for the stock market. How could anyone with stock based investments consider voting for him?

And..well, don’t “little people” simply love to put high profile megalomaniacs in their place?

If there is a winning coalition for him, I sure didn’t see it. Then again, the election isn’t over, though the sports books now range from 2/9 to 1/6, with 1/5 being the most common line. A few bookies have taken the election off of the board.

Workout notes weights (rotator cuff, pull ups: 5 sets of 10, incline: 10 x 135, 8 x 150, 10 x 140, military: (dumbbell) 7 x 50 standing, 15 x 50 seated, supported, 10 x 200 machine, rows: 3 sets of 10 x 50, head stand, 2 sets of 12 twist crunch, 10 yoga leg lifts, then 4 mile walk (up to Cornstalk hill and back)
