Good night for Clinton…

Well, Hillary Clinton won Ohio, Florida and North Carolina. She is clinging to a 3 point lead in Illinois, with most of Cook County not being factored in as yet. So while we can’t call it for her, it sure looks promising.

Sanders has a narrow lead in Missouri, but St. Louis is usually counted very late, so we might not know until tomorrow who won. More importantly, Clinton will widen her pledged delegate lead.

My sources: Fivethirtyeight (Nate Silver’s site), CNN and the New York Times.

I’ll have to wait for the final results to see if the polls did better than the simple regression model. The regression model is holding up reasonably well, except for Ohio where it was way off. It said “lean Sanders” and Clinton won easily. But it appears to have gotten Missouri right and predicted that Illinois would be competitive, which it is.
