swimming is improving

Workout notes; 2200 yards swim: 500 easy, 500 of drill swim then: 10 x 100 on the 2:10: 1:45, 1:43, 1:45, 1:43, 1:43, 1:42, 1:42, 1:42, 1:42, 1:38 (chased Jason on the final one). 100 back, 50 side, 50 fly (fins)

This was my best swim in well over a year. The body is just responding well to working out; it is almost as if the marathon stuff gave me a nice base to work from. I am actually feeling good. Now, I am waiting for the other shoe to drop. 🙂

Next goal: get ALL of the 100s in under 1:40, then cut the interval to 2:05.
