Dick Morris: Liberals Picking on Michelle Bachmann because she is a conservative woman

Via Dick Morris.com
Listen to all 4 minutes; it is great comedy:

This is the “knowledgeable Michelle Bachmann”:

See: in Ms. Bachmann’s world:
1. The 1920′s were just great (the stock market crash occurred in 1929)
2. President Roosevelt signed the Smoot-Hawley act into law (psst: Smoot and Hawley were Republican Senators and President Hoover signed this into law)
3. President Roosevelt turned a recession into the depression (the depression was in full force when he won the election in 1932).

Remember, this wasn’t an off-the-cuff slip of the tongue (which EVERYONE makes from time to time); this was a prepared floor speech.

What a strange world we live in; these-a-days it is the Republicans who play the “victim” card! Does anyone remember the days when the Republicans were the rough-tough, “quit whining” party?

  1. Let’s see, this is the guy who was a big deal in the Clinton administration, until he got caught with a hooker. Then he became a Republican. Correct me if I’m wrong. And he thinks liberals go after Bachmann because that’s just what we do – how about this: we point out that a) she may be “educated”, but that doesn’t mean she knows what she’s talking about as in b) not voting for a debt ceiling increase plays well to people who are not “educated” and don’t even know what the debt ceiling is and c) she and her husband run some pretty shady “counseling” services and can’t make a decision without praying over it until God tells them what to do. W prayed over his decisions too – I’m pretty sure God didn’t tell him to further reward the wealthy with tax cuts, go to war TWICE and begin a long run of deficit spending again. By the way, wasn’t it a Republican – Dick Cheney – who said “Ronald Reagan proved deficits don’t matter?” So why suddenly have the Republicans turned against their own?

    • Dick Morris was a Republican when Clinton hired him. Also remember that Dick Morris is talking to NewsMax Republicans (the lesser educated group).
