A couple of comments from personal blogs…

I watched Countdown on MSNBC last night. They showed a clip of the auto industry executives who were asking Congress for a bail-out.

A conservative blogger reacted to one segment of the session in the way that I did. Basically, one Representative noted that these guys showed up to congress asking for a hand-out, though they arrived by private, corporate jet. :)

Locally: I sometimes check my blog-reader during the work day. A local blogger (female) noted that she didn’t have time to do laundry recently. Therefore she showed up for her job:

wearing a black padded push-up bra. And a thong. Tight jeans and a low-cut blouse.

Moral: don’t check personal blogs at work if you need to concentrate on something. :)

(PS: this post was really about being tired, having a cold and running down on stuff to wear from the laundry basket, but sometimes it is fun to quote things out of context.)

  1. I’m not one to defend corporate types like this, but as soon as we start giving banks and other companies public money, we’re going to feel they have to drive old cars and eat at McDonald’s just like us. Not sure that’s realistic if they need to project a certain corporate image. But those private jets were just asking for it.
