Heart (the band that played the song Barracuda): tells the McCain campaign to NOT use its music.

According to CNN, they, along with Sony BMG, have sent a cease and desist order to the Republican party.

“We have asked the Republican campaign publicly not to use our music. We
hope our wishes will be honored,” the group said in a statement that said they “condemn” the use of the song at the Republican convention.

Ann and Nancy have released the following statement:

“Sarah Palin’s views and values in NO WAY represent us as American women. We ask that our song ‘Barracuda’ no longer be used to promote her image. The song ‘Barracuda’ was written in the late 70s as a scathing rant against the soulless, corporate nature of the music business, particularly for women. (The ‘barracuda’ represented the business.) While Heart did not and would not authorize the use of their song at the RNC, there’s irony in Republican strategists’ choice to make use of it there.”

The John McCain puppet. Yep, I agree with this Republican. :)
(hat tip to Watertiger)

Tom Ridge (a Republican): “John Bush”. :)

Palin is a liar stretches the truth.

Palin: running her back to Alaska.

Begin the education of Sarah Palin? Cramming for an exam, perhaps? :)

Gidget goes to Washington?

More of the same: Fox News Attacks Obama, just like they attacked Kerry.

Psst: yes, we had people pass out at Springfield, but it was because we

1. Had to wait 1 hour in line just to get in
2. We were packed together and
3. It was pushing 90 F (30 C) with no wind and
4. Many supporters were either elderly, out of shape, dehydrated or not used to the heat. :)

Oh yes, many of his supporters have actually thought about what he says (and has actually done in the Senate) and as far as HITLER????

Well, I am so sure that Hitler got the glowing reception in other countries that Obama is getting. :)
