Early Callahan Fundraiser Photos

It is 6:45 pm and the Callahan fundrasier still has 1:15 to go.

Olivia and I went early to beat the crowds; Olivia was a trooper about it. :)

We did leave early as there was a very long line that stretched from outside the door down the steps to the basement.

Here you can see the line of people; it stretched up the stairs and out the front door:

  2. We got there at about 5:20 or so; we didn’t see Durbin or Madigan.

    I am glad that I got you in a photo. :)

    I haven’t read today’s paper yet so didn’t know what went down with The Decider’s visit.

    BTW, I’m about halfway through “The God Delusion” and it is FANTASTIC. Didn’t know much about Dawkins before visiting your blog, but man, I’m glad you have him linked.

  4. Dems are historically disorganized & disfunctional.

    Sadly, many working class people have taken the ‘guns, god & patriotism’ bait (distraction) of the well funded & organized Republicans, and voted against their own interests.

    Colleen has a lot of work to do to get her support base away from their TVs, taverns & stock car racing.

    Shock is transparent. He’s good at working a room & saying what people want to hear. A spiffy dresser & clean cut, so little old folks-wishing someone who looks successful were dating their granddaugters-like him. He knows enough to look successful & people will treat you as if you are.

    His ambition to be a career poltitcian doesn’t impress + his judgement is lacking. He needs to stick to resolving welfare check problems & hitting on chicks at the health club until he grows up.

    Actually, Mr. Schock wouldn’t be interested in the chicks at the health club; they are of the wrong sex to be of interest to him.

    The party types know this but the rank and file don’t.
