Just when I thought that I could leave it alone

Extreme ignorance at a South Carolina Church:

Pastor Byrd was asked why he put the sign up:

Pastor Byrd says the sign is not meant to be racial or political but rather to make people think. “His name is so close to Osama I have a feeling he might be Islamic therefore he doesn’t recognize Christ,” Pastor Byrd said.

Remind me again why we are supposed to respect such ignorant wastes of DNA?
Oh yes, the congregation voted to keep the sign up.

Hillary Clinton: increasingly desperate. I know, I am trying my best to ignore her, but it seems that she takes her classlessness to new level every time I try to ignore her.

First, this hypocrite accuses Obama of “cheering on John McCain.” Really.

NPR’s Morning Edition was covering statements made by Sen. Barack Obama and a response made by Sen. Hillary Clinton. Those statements:

Obama: “You have a real choice in this election. Either Democrat would be better than John McCain. And all three of us would be better than George Bush.”

Clinton: “We need a nominee who will take on John McCain, not cheer on John McCain.”

Oh, my freaking god, are you f*cking kidding me, Sen. Clinton?

This is the same person who said:

Now she has really jumped the shark, so to speak:

So, I’ll answer her question: whose campaign has been run responsibly? Note: it isn’t yours, Senator Clinton!

Hillary Rodham Clinton’s cash-strapped presidential campaign has been putting off paying hundreds of bills for months — freeing up cash for critical media buys but also earning the campaign a reputation as something of a deadbeat in some small-business circles.

A pair of Ohio companies owed more than $25,000 by Clinton for staging events for her campaign are warning others in the tight-knit event production community — and anyone else who will listen — to get their cash upfront when doing business with her. Her campaign, say representatives of the two companies, has stopped returning phone calls and e-mails seeking payment of outstanding invoices. One even got no response from a certified letter.

The situation has only gotten worse.

If you can’t balance a campaign budget, why should we trust you to balance our country’s budget?

If you can’t plan ahead well when it comes to fundraising, why should we trust you to plan ahead when running the country?

If you can’t keep promises to those who provided you services, why should we trust you to keep promises made to us?

You underestimated how hard this campaign would be. Why should we trust you to understand how hard the Presidential tasks will be? Where is all of this “experience”?

As far as playing on fear:

:)

Oh well, what will happen, will happen.

But I admit that I am baffled why she is trying such stuff; all polls indicate that she has the lead and should coast to victory in Pennsylvania. I suppose that all this means is that I am nothing more than a fan of politics that lacks the detailed knowledge of why campaigns do what they do.

Of course, Obama had an appropriate response:
