Getting Lost in McNaughton…

Workout notes I had intended to run/walk one McNaughton loop (10 miles). I was doing ok at the 5 mile point (1:17); my jogging was slow and my walking even slower but I was having a blast. But in the field stretch comeing off of a 1.25 loop (called Heaven’s Gate) I got lost and wandered around for about an hour (3 miles or so) trying to find the correct entrance into the forest trail. The problem was the entrace was overgrown with tall grass; it was hard to see.

The good news is that I had water and that I did NOT get divebombed by birds.

Social Note

Marriage is in trouble. Why? Well, those liberals will tell you that poor health and money problems are leading marriage stressers, (hence the phrase “in sickness and in health, for richer or poorer) but I now understand that it is those *(&^%!! gays getting married that are driving my wife and I apart! Lunkhead at the Daily Kos elaborates:

Because you allowed gay marriage, I have to divorce my wife.
Clearly the threat to the sanctity of our marriage is such that I cannot resist.
